What Are You 

Planting in Your 

Garden? 

Things around the world are a bit out of whack right now … and have been for a while.  Coming from the US, where we accelerate in the art of selling FEAR, things are even more chaotic.  My question to you is: What are you planting in your garden of life?  Is there more FEAR controlling your life, thoughts and decisions?  Can you see the abundance and beauty in the world?  Take time to sit with these questions. 

I would like to invite you to take off the cloak of fear and step into the world of love, gratitude and abundance.  This can be more challenging than it sounds as most of our cultures sell fear.  The government, media and so much of social media is filled with it as well.  We are not taught to be intentional manifestors, to see that there is abundance all around us.  I am talking about reprogramming your thoughts and beliefs.

Let’s use the state of the economy right now as an example.  While the lay of the land, in terms of money has shifted, there is still so much money being made and spent.  Amazon is rolling in the dough.  People who are working from home have the same income and less spending as they can’t go out and do things (unless they’re shopping on Amazon every day … LOL).  Money may have changed the way it’s being made and spent, but it is still flowing, it’s energy.  If you have been negatively impacted by the current state of affairs, what are you doing to overcome it?  There is always a solution.  It may not be easy, obvious or immediate, but it’s there (especially when you believe that it’s there!).

Abundance isn’t just about money or your career.  What about your health?  Do you see your body as an intelligent, highly functioning machine that is capable of regenerating and healing?  OR do you think you have to get a vaccine to ensure health?  What action steps are you taking to create abundance in your health; to boost your immune system?  This is critical now more than ever.  

How are your relationships?  Do they serve you and give you as much as you give them?  Are they loving, healthy and supportive?  Do you feel abundant in the quality and quantity of your relationships?  OR do your relationships pull you down?   Are some of them even unhealthy and/or toxic?  What are you doing to give your best while also recognizing when you need to step away? 

There are questions like these for EVERY aspect of your life.  What weeds are growing in your garden?  What do you need to clear out, reevaluate or repurpose?  Identifying the beliefs, self talk, things and maybe even people that are no longer serving you is so important.  This helps to get you off of the hamster wheel and into more of a state of awareness.  It is SOOO important to not gloss over and just try to cover up negativity or dysfunction with positivity (my personal challenge!).  

What kinds of seeds are you planting in your garden?  To simplify this, there are just two steps.  First, you’ll want to look at your mindset and beliefs.  What do you think and believe about the world, your life and each of these areas (as well as any others I haven’t mentioned)?  What do you need to change to get to a more aligned way of thinking?  You ARE the architect of your life.  You and only you.  Yes, there are always outside contributing factors.  How you perceive them AND respond to them … that’s all in your hands.

Taking action is the next step.  Once you have your mindset in creation mode, taking inspired action is much easier to do.  I am someone who has struggled most of my life to take action.  I have a million ideas, but it’s challenging for me to take action.  I guess I should say, it used to be challenging for me.  Earlier this year, I was able to shift my perspective and get in alignment (which I continue to get clarity on) and now …. Viola!  It’s so much easier for me to take action.  Do I still procrastinate?  Sure, a little.  NOTHING like I have historically.  

Nature is an excellent example of abundance and the ability to heal herself.  This is not to say that everything in nature is always peachy-keen, because we all know this is not the case.  We have all heard about how pollution levels have gone down since everyone has been at home.  Giving mother earth a little bit of a breather.  So many times when we take man out of the picture, we can see her regenerating herself.  The same can be true with our bodies.   By  removing the toxins and working with our bodies naturally, amazing things can happen.  There are still droughts and floods and all kinds of natural disasters.  Some of these are in response to how we have not honored mother earth and some are just part of being.  Regardless, she always comes out ok.  You will too.

The final question is: What do you want to plant in your garden?  Having a roadmap is extremely beneficial in reaching your goals!  You don’t always need to know ‘how’, but having a direction is imperative.  This is one step that so many people leave out.  Then when they retire, the question why they didn’t do this or that.
